Around 12,000 gather at the free Bank of Scotland Family Viewing Area in Inverleith Park, located about 1 mile from the city centre.  It boasts a panoramic view of the Edinburgh skyline and features a giant screen showing close up footage of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

The Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert was broadcast live on STV for the first time in 2007, doubling the audience size.

The 2008 Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert will be held on Sunday 31st August at 9pm.
